The Atlanta Braves

Anything fun to do with the Misses in Nash for our Anniversary? Going to eat is fine but looking for something different and out of the norm to do.

The Grand Ole Opry is always a cool experience, as is the Ryman, regardless who is playing.

The Nashville Symphony often does movie showings where they play the score, while the movie is playing on the screen. My sister has watched Star Wars many times this way and has loved it every time. I think they have done Jurassic Park too. And they do a holiday schedule as well where they play Home Alone, It's a Wonderful Life, and other Christmas classics.

I can't imagine we have the prospect pool but Passan says the Red Sox are trading one of Duran or Abreu and I would be all over Abreu.

This article is not exactly a ringing endorsement for this off-season.

If the off-season plans are Ozuna and Dubon, just go ahead and tear this team apart. Stop with the bargain bin shopping when you're a 200+ million payroll team. Either spend the money to adequately fill the holes we have or sell off the players and start over. You aren't going anywhere spinning your tires in the field of mediocrity.

Bowman alluded to it in the article but I do wonder how Ozuna’s hip injury impacted his power, in April he looked like the Ozuna from the previous two years after that his power and average tanked. I wouldn’t be opposed to bringing him back if that meant Kim at SS and a top tier SP and revamped bullpen.

They were at $238 mil in 2024 pre tax, and $237mil last year and reset the tax, so if they want to get to that mark this year they’d have roughly $50mil to spend.

Podcast won’t be up tonight. The girl has been under the weather the last couple nights so haven’t had time to adequately prepare. We are going to record tomorrow night and we’ll get it up before Friday morning

Looks like SF hired a pitching coach yesterday. That doesn't completely close the book on Anderson staying or leaving, but it certainly seems more likely than not that he would stay at this point.
Tony wants him in a developmental front office role. So it’s still very much up in the air.

I still can’t believe how wild Vitello’s best team was lol

My dog touched home plate with a finger. Gilbert an absolute psycho.

Would make a great Vols doc in a few years. In some ways they changed baseball.
