The Atlanta Braves

Eh, this is a game we beat ourselves on. We outplayed OU all night. Offense was moving the ball with ease most of the the night. Defense was actually playing pretty well for a change. But 3 costly turnovers all on their side of the field and a missed FG was the difference in beating them by 2+ scores.
We have not beaten a single good team. At some point, it’s not an anomaly and it’s just the way they play in big matchups.

AP alluded to a pretty big portal exodus on the pod. I imagine it’s because Boo has been kept around.

With that said, lot of soft players on this team that need to leave anyway.

Last night I couldn't believe how soft we were.

Every 5 minutes someone was laying on the ground like they were dying.

Gonna have to rebuild this secondary. Gibson was teetering last year too

In regards to the stadium atmosphere, this happens a lot when tix get this pricey. Same thing happened to the Preds. It used to be the loudest stadium in hockey, basically an SEC game. We got good. Prices went up. Atmosphere went down bad, even when we were good.

then spill it
OL is good.
TE is long term project that probably does not see the field.
Our 4* TE has the ball bounce off his facemark and now we are taking projects on scholarship when there is a whole transfer portal where we can get immediate contributors. We are not serious right now.

Ohhhh, okay. My mind was elsewhere.

Yeah don’t love the TE commit but Kits is gone and Davis could easily portal out. Then you have two guys you like left.

We can't afford to play the long game. The teams we need to beat are going to sign players who do one of two things:
1 - immediate impact via portal
2 - impact beginning year two if high school signee

I define impact as a meaningful SEC contributor. Not All SEC or anything like that.
Take the TE room - Kits is gone. Any one of Davis, JVD, or Brame could portal out. Hell, they could all portal out. Thats the world now. We can't take Okoye's. Just is what it is. I don't hate the guy who committed. I just think we need to the projects out of the portal after they show they are no longer a project. We need to use smaller schools as a feeder program for this type of thing.

Some nugs from AP
Something nobody really knows about RG, his wife and he have guardianship of 3 grandkids, with the Auburn job open, he might want to move closer to home for help. If not AP says he will be here.

Also a quote from AP.... "Merk won't be here in Janurary"

I feel like RG will stay, but Marion Hobby is a great coach and would slot in well imo.
