The Atlanta Braves

If we go 9-3, I’ll be fine with it even though we shot ourselves in the foot all 3 losses. Considering we replaced 9.5 offensive starters (only Heard was the every snap starter, Kits and Staes were 50/50) with a disaster QB situation after Spring ball (plus injuries to secondary) and we all expected a downgrade defensively, that’s still a good year and on track program wise. But, I gotta to see a staff change or two defensively. Get rid of Martinez and hire a real DB coach.

Even despite the 3 TO’s and the weakness at QB/RB, we’ve had enough offensively. The problem is if Banks is going to continue to play defense like this, you can’t have average talent. You have got to be elite
Right but the offense gives away points or doesn’t do enough in crunch time. Going 3 and out after TO’s can’t happen.

We are not going 9-3 brother

This year was an absolute flop. Sad truth is we have benefited from playing a lot of really bad teams. And struggled to beat them.

And A LOT of red flags

Yep.

It’s a slightly aggressive opinion, but I think CJH is on the hot season if he wins 7/8 again next season. The same issues continue to haunt them

People are correct when they talk about the environment being different. I’ve been at almost every home game since 2012. The crowd no longer has the teeth it used to. I don’t know what the root cause is, but you can see it and feel it inside the stadium. It’s still good but it used to be violent.
Tickets are outrageous lol. While not impossible, the common man really has to budget and likely make some sacrifices to attend games with their family. While it may not be as simple as that, I do think that it plays a role. It seems to be trending towards a more corporate experience imo.

All the corporations have tickets man. Vendors/Suppliers ask me all of time if I want to go. Die hards are priced out for Corporate dates

I think the party deck and the lower level suites plays a role too.
Too much open air thay allows noise to escape.

Tickets are outrageous. Total cost of attendance is even worse.

My brother has season tickets. Even with him already having tickets, it is not unusual for me to spend at least 1k during a regular game and 1500-2k for a premium game. Hotel, food, and parking are insane.

It is definitely becoming more of a wine and cheese crowd. I used to take people to games and feel so proud of the environment. It was so much better than everywhere else. It was 100k people who loved this **** and it showed. As soon as we got a delay of game or time out it was like blood in the water. It’s not that anymore. It’s just a big gathering.

So, I honestly was never worried about Vandy.

After tonight they kinda worry me.
Eh, this is a game we beat ourselves on. We outplayed OU all night. Offense was moving the ball with ease most of the the night. Defense was actually playing pretty well for a change. But 3 costly turnovers all on their side of the field and a missed FG was the difference in beating them by 2+ scores.
