It almost totally turns the narrative they thought they had on its head.

They do have home field advantage for the rest of the series though - I'm sure they're taking solace in that. They can win 2 in a row at home and win the series.

It's a gut punch, but they got what they wanted - a split in ATL. I think it has a bigger impact on the Braves. They literally went from dead to regaining control to some degree in the span of 10 minutes.

Braves haven’t announced a starter

Braves activated Charlie Morton from the IL on 10/8

Charlie could be added to the roster if somebody is hurt…

Could Charlie start tomorrow?

Sounds like Tonkin didn't pitch last night because of a sore pinky toe. Might need to pull him off the roster.

Nobody has mentioned that much lol. It wasn't exactly an aware throw to make, but I guess in the moment he wasn't going to go wrong just heaving it toward 2B to get it in

And it wasn't just Riley - what is so cool about that play is that everybody was where they were supposed to be. Ronnie peeled off to play the ball off the wall if Mikey didn't catch it. Riley was where he was, and Raisel was backing up the throw back to first. Beautiful play.

What's funny is that I'm not 100% sure they get the out if Ozzie fields the throw cleanly. He was kind of in an awkward position with his feet, would have thrown from further away, and doesn't have as strong of an arm.
