I'll give him some credit for Morton (hilarious though Morton wanted to be a Brave in 2019, but AA balked at giving him a second year, then we gave Dallas Keuchel $13M in 2018 and Cole Hamels $18M in 2020... Morton finished 3rd in Cy Young in 2019). Other than the extensions, I can't think really of an absolute dynamite move outside Sale that wasn't one year deal. TDA's 2 year deals in 2020-2021 and then 2022-2023?

And I forgot, Sale missed significant time last year.

Will Smith was also amazing after being pretty shaky in the regular season.

Minter also turned his season around. Jackson was actually lights out in the World Series too. It's a minor miracle they won that year. They were clearly the worst team in the playoffs going into that postseason. Even crazier they didn't face an elimination game and kind of handled business. They won three straight against Milwaukee, had both the Dodgers/Astros 3-1 too.

Iggy trade was really good.

Signing Ozuna was good in the end even he did crap the bed in 01 and 02.

Olson has been really good obviously, but we could have just given his money to Freddie and kept the prospects.
