I don't know your personal situation obviously, but "interview" them as well. Especially if you are in a position where you are content with your current job and don't necessarily need to leave or weren't necessarily looking to leave.Fair enough. Have you ever worked for the United States government?You've passed whatever screening process the filter resumes through (i.e., they are pretty confident you could do the job) and they're trying to assess how you'll fit in with their organization. That is really the point of job interviews - they are trying to figure out if you'll fit in with their culture. If they thought you didn't have the aptitude, experience, intelligence, etc. to do the job, they'd never interview you to begin with.
I’d hate to see the exit velocities on the outs. How in God’s name did it occur to anyone that starting a guy that you literally just got in a trade for pocket lint was a plausible alternative?Doesn’t sound like a good inning
