Well I know Scotty wants Gattis everywhere on the field and verc wants Jordan nowhere near the field.

He's been horrible at the plate in the second half. But Gattis has been almost as bad. Gattis at least offers the possibility of the long ball, but he's a defensive risk. I'd probably go with defense in a playoff game and start Schafer.

That's what ticks me off. They won't resign McCann because they are paying too much damn money to watch BJ and Uggla hit .190

That's not really what he was saying. Whether there's money available or not, it makes no sense to tie the team up with a long term deal on a 30 year old catcher.

Wu, you're looking good in the pick em contest...I had a couple decent weeks in a row that moved me up quite a bit, but I'm still 5 back of the leader.

You jumped up a lot. If I would have went with my gut and not picked Duke I'd be leading. Oh well. You're catching up brother.

IMO , Brian could play another 4 or 5 years at a high level behind the plate. After that, he probably should go to the AL

I'd lean towards defense as well in the postseason, especially since Gattis isn't particularly tearing it up. Looks like we will be rooting for the Nats help tonight.
