Come on. Not to crap on Jones, but calling what he won in Cincinnati "championships" is kind of a joke. Three out of eight Big East teams "won a championship" in 2011; four out of eight (half the conference!) "won a championship" in 2012. UC didn't earn the BCS berth either year.

How many SEC EAST CHAMPIONS!!! shirts do you have from the days back when we used to lose to Florida, finish tied with them in the standings, and then watched them play in the SECCG? What Butch "won" was the same thing. When you have a bad 8 team league with a BCS berth, you play a full-round robin schedule, and you end up in the Belk Bowl, you didn't win the championship.

Yeah, but I'm sure you remember when the same thing happened in the SEC pre SECCG.

At least back then it was a big conference with no round robin schedule and no pre-agreed-upon tiebreak criteria. Was there ever a year when 50 percent of the SEC claimed a conference championship in one season?
