I've read that developers who've been running it already typically hate it for a few days. Then they pick up someone else's phone with the old software still on it and recoil at how old and clunky it looks. Hoping that holds true for me, because yeah, my initial reaction is yuck.

It's like I'm on a Samsung Fascinate again.

I'm already getting used to it. There are a few really bad mistakes -- the system "share" icon, for example -- but overall I think it's going to be all right. Definitely much more in line with modern web/computer design. I do miss buttons that look like buttons though.

Easy to see how after a few days the old software will look old and creaky. Mrs Verc will probably never agree to update, so I'm going to be looking at it for a long time.
