The Atlanta Braves - Hello darkness my old friend

A couple of noteworthy updates from A ball:

Eric Hartman (OF) is still red hot. Last 113 PAs since returning from the IL he is hitting: .293/.366/.465 (.831 OPS). .400 wOBA and 143 wRC+. I wish we had statcast data on him.

John Gill (SS) also has a little power surge recently. In his last 8 games he has a line of .382/.432/.765 (1.197OPS). 6 of his 13 hits during this span have gone for extra bases, including 3 homers.

Really hope Gil can keep building. The walk/k rates, defense and speed are so good.

On the flip side, Alex Lodise has 11 Ks in 26 PAs in Rome. That's a 42% K rate for those keeping track at home. And zero walks. His plate discipline right now is making Michael Harris look like Ted Williams

Ty Simpson should feel joy that he doesn't have to come to Neyland year one. Hope we eat his lunch anyway. And whoever the Georgia jabroni is whose name escapes me can come give it a go.
