I can't believe that this year is the first time Texas has been #1 in the preseason. As hyped up as they always seem to be, and they've been a good historical program, I can't believe there wasn't at least one year where they were #1.

Eric Hartman (OF) is still red hot. Last 113 PAs since returning from the IL he is hitting: .293/.366/.465 (.831 OPS). .400 wOBA and 143 wRC+. I wish we had statcast data on him.

John Gill (SS) also has a little power surge recently. In his last 8 games he has a line of .382/.432/.765 (1.197OPS). 6 of his 13 hits during this span have gone for extra bases, including 3 homers.
