I just love dogs and the adorable baby boy looks so pitiful, in the pic. Like GWN posted, hoping he's chasing squirrels, very soon.

I'll second pet insurance. You can find it for $30-$50 a month and some can even pay the vet directly so you dont have to foot the bill up front. I've had pet insurance for 8 years and never needed it till recently. My dog had to have a tumor removed. It's saved us over 9k and having to make a tough choice.
