The Atlanta Braves - Hello darkness my old friend

Definetly side with Chipper. It's a generation thing. Young guys love the all or nothing approach. Older guys like myself believe it's a good thing to make a productive out for a batter hitting 3rd or 4th in the lineup.

OBP is really about the same for flyball guys vs groundball guys. HRs go up but pop ups and K's do too.

Any chance Bow mentioned Snitker running a 21 year old who has never played a full season of baseball into the ground?
I think that's such a crock. It's baseball; not manual labor. I get managing pitchers, catchers and maybe middle infielders, but the guys in the outfield and on the corners just aren't stressed that much. There's not much difference over 6 months between playing 158 games and playing 152.

Science and data says different. The more rest the better. Acuna has never played a full season of baseball before and we are running him out there like 1999 Andruw Jones every day. Also playing CF and leading off isn’t easy.

He's been in CF about 60% his total innings.

All I'm saying is that were around 150 games and I'll bet if you look at games played there are probably 30-40 guys that have played 145ish or more. I'm not sure that if he played 143 instead of 150 we'd really see much of a significant difference.

Where are your seats? Most of the lowers are 150, dugouts 180.
Sec 37... I'm assuming we'll be in the same spot for the playoffs. We've got a group of 7 that shares the tickets, so I end up with about a dozen dates which I mostly give to customers. I think 4 of us bought in for the playoffs, so I'll likely get one set for each round depending on how homegirls shakes out.
