Love the new pedals. Amazing what a difference having the larger pedal platform makes. 8 miles through the extreme hills of E. Tennessee over the weekend and 8 miles through the trails here tonight. Wish I had time for more!

13.8 miles yesterday and 8 earlier in the week. Finding lots of new trails here to enjoy. I have replaced cycling with running because it's just so much fun. Not sure it's a good idea. I need to find a good balance.

It's not $25, but for $35 you can get Continental GP4000s.
For $10 more it's probably worth the upgrade.
I just took a well-worn one off my bike. Had it on the front wheel for 6000 miles, then rotated it to the back for another 6000 miles.
Don't think I ever had a flat tire on it.
Hard to complain about that.
I got some Michelin Carbons on sale at Nashbar a while back for $23. They were the tire I used several years ago (until they discontinued for a while). Not the fastest tire, but they held up real good as far as preventing flats (which I hate).
Not sure they are now as good as they used to be. The first one I put on developed a couple small cuts quite early in its life and I got a flat tire.
