This is when I think country music really started to get good (late 60's). This one came a couple of years before that one, but it's basically the same formula. Great song.
I'm in the camp of "enjoy and appreciate the classics" while it's still OK to "kick back, have a beer, and redneck it out with what the kids like." I didn't like MW when I first heard him, but with the windows down, on the lake, or with some corn hole boards, TN can grow on you.Morgan Wallen being so polarizing is simply a case of new school vs old school. People that grew up on old country think he's trash because he's a different type of country. Just like people like me who grew up Eminem, Lil Wayne, 36 Mafia, T.I, 50, etc think all modern rap/hip hop is complete trash. Personally I think MW has a few bangers but for the most part not my cup of tea. Which is exactly how I feel about most modern rap. Morgan Wallen isn't that bad, we're just getting old.
This shouldn't be as hard to understand as some make it out to be.I'm in the camp of "enjoy and appreciate the classics" while it's still OK to "kick back, have a beer, and redneck it out with what the kids like."
