The 2022 NFL Season Thread

What an entertaining embarrassment.

The Patriots outplayed the Cardinals to win easily 27-13.

Not surprising because McCoy is just a good QB while Murray is a great QB the dual threat that makes it more likely the Cardinals can defeat in the same weight class teams.

Thank you Coach Bowles for the priceless entertainment that is it’s easier to get over embarrassing blowout defeats than losing close games.

This is after the 49ers bulldozed a bad Buccaneers team 35-7 in a game that was uncompetitive, undramatic, and that’s why the Buccaneers scoring a garbage TD to avoid a shutout was a moral victory.

Can’t wait to see which NFC South team wins the awful division with very likely a losing record.
The Falcons with a possible talented Rookie QB have a realistic chance of winning the abysmal NFC South.
The Panthers with winning consistency could win the NFC South after seeing them play great Vs the Seahawks in a close game they won in Seattle.
Saints
I have no confidence the Saints win this abysmal division mainly because having no consistent reliable QB.
Buccaneers
With Brady the Buccaneers winning this abysmal division with a losing record is achievable.

@BadJerry20

Congratulations because the 49ers won the NFC West before Christmas Day.
The 49ers defeated the Seahawks 21-13 in Seattle, and Brock Purdy improved to 2-0 as a NFL starting QB.

The 49ers are playing great including the defense continues to hold teams to under 20 points, and the offense does enough to outplay the other team.

Saturday Picks

Vikings
While the Colt's defense could keep the game close however the Vikings still outplay the Colts because the Home Field Advantage creates issues for the Indy Colts, and the Vikings make more critical plays offensively mainly because the Vikings have more offensive weapons including the great Vikings WR Jefferson.
Bills
The Bills are not going to lose this revenge game at home in frigid Buffalo vs the Dolphins. While the Dolphins can compete because of having weapons on offense, however, Allen and the Bills repeatedly execute great plays to defeat the traveling hydro mammals.
Allen is great under pressure so the Dolphins having a whole improved defense that can pressure Allen won't be an issue for the terrific QB that has great running speed which can't be said for Tom Brady.

Ravens
The Browns are mostly playing for pride and also to keep the slim chance alive to make the Playoffs as a Wild Card so most likely a close game that the Ravens can win even without Jackson because the Ravens execute more critical plays needed to win, and the Ravens make fewer mistakes than the Browns.

Are the Vikings woefully overrated? Matt Ryan will give them plenty of opportunities to get back in the game though.

If the Vikings keep running these stupid plays it won't matter. 3rd and 1 you run a jet sweep or whatever it was, 4th and 1 you run it up the middle when the whole world expected it.

Kevin O’Connell sucks as a head coach. Some horrific play calling

Haha this would be a historical collapse by the Colts. No chance Ryan can drive them down for a fg.
