So do you actually care? Not about her being white, but about the dog whistles and nod to “good genes”?I think very few people actually care about this tbh but it generates clicks for Outkick or whoever
Has nothing to do with her being white and much more to do with the dog whistles about passing down traits and blonde hair/blue eyes being "good genes"
An advertisement that so many are condemning as a “eugenics dog whistle” fits into this movement. Sweeney and American Eagle deserve much scrutiny over this, but so does our own crumbling and fractured American culture that made this all possible in the first place.
There's 3 cnn storues in a 2 second search. You wanna keep doing this, or quit while you have some face to save? All over Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, etc. Liberals have posted thousands of videos crying, crying for boycotting, claiming it's racist, nazism, etc. Surely, being the "educated " side, you're not this dense, right? Wait, you guys think men can get pregnant, forget I askedAn opinion article on MSNBC, which is one person, and a Fox 5 article quoting 2 people. You are the one who said it was "everywhere" and "the majority of the left", and I doubt most people from your "side" even agree with you on that
I don't care, I was mainly explaining what the criticism was and disagreeing with the notion that people were "upset that it's a white attractive woman" or whateverSo do you actually care? Not about her being white, but about the dog whistles and nod to “good genes”?
Because that appears to be what the MSNBC opinion contributor you dismiss as insignificant is upset about as well -

Opinion | Sydney Sweeney’s American Eagle ad reflects a darker side of pop culture trends
Advertisements are always mirrors of society, and sometimes what they reflect is ugly and startling.www.msnbc.com
MSNBC editor approved it for the audience for a reason. So do you actually care? Not about her being white, but about the dog whistles and nod to “good genes”?

MSNBC has less viewers than the average moderately-famous YouTube streamer (have you even heard of the YouTubes?). Is that worth wasting your time?
I guess when you're wasting your time all the time, it is. Maybe, too, when all you know is responding to idiotic rage-bait, it is.
Do you know what "majority" means? Maybe that's the issue here lol. Everyone in this thread agrees it's a tiny percentage of people except for youThere's 3 cnn storues in a 2 second search. You could have just said no, you don't know what majority means. Majority is not a Google screenshot lmaoView attachment 760244
When it's all over the news, and evry liberal outlet is covering it, it's a majority. You wanna keep showing the class how educated you really are?
Sure. I'm extremely good at automating other people's jobs, making the right decisions the first time, and fixing things that other people break along on the way. I'm usually only here around this time in the day. I kill time between monitoring and responding to issues (or dropping decues) on this board. During the early mornings and evenings I am usually doing way more productive things for myself and my health, my businesses, or my family. Better here on this board than burying my face in ragebait and legacy media all day.I'm still amused by the logical conundrum of someone who's been here two years fewer than I have but with 330% more postings, wagging his finger at anyone about wasting time. Help me out with that logic.
If 'the YouTubes' is on 'the InterWebs' then yep! - may have heard of it. Probably a cabal run by 'the' OSU.
The vast majority of the traffic driving those stories has been from the right, and you still do not know what a "majority of the left" which consists of tens of millions of people meansGosh you're dense. Every news station, that means all, has covered it. If all of them has, how is that not a majority?
Explain how, quickly. I already said I don't care about the ad, pointing out that you are full of it isn't being triggered and this is the argument of a middle school boyMeanwhile, let's not deflect from you being triggered![]()
Yea I thought you were pretty clear in your position, that you thought the “pretty white girl” angle was silly, and the criticism was more about the “dog whistles”.I don't care, I was mainly explaining what the criticism was and disagreeing with the notion that people were "upset that it's a white attractive woman" or whatever
You're the one that tried to use "vehemently defending" as an insult and now you are questioning what that meant lol
But dense enough to not know what others think while not letting that little barrier prevent you imputing. Incidentally, quite a lot of the left thinks exactly like this.Sure. I'm extremely good at automating other people's jobs, making the right decisions the first time, and fixing things that other people break along on the way. And despite my own use of time, I still find the ability to not be dense enough to think MSNBC is an arbiter of how any sizable subset of actual humans think. That's the coolest thing- I can "waste" parts my time and still come out ahead of you.
Except the attack in Cincinnati. That was a "brawl". Or so the media says.Omg spare us the bs. Everything has become racist. Pieces of random rope, statues, commercials,…..everything. People are just sick of it and become numb to it. Nobody refutes there is real racism in the world. What people refute is the extent it actually affects someone. We all agree the klan is racist but they have virtually ZERO affect on anything that matters. None. There’s FAR more fabricated racism/hate crimes by minorities than anything else. You won’t find any person refuting the klan is racist. You will find a lot of people refuting blm is. Not only are they a racist/race baiting gang they are grifting, corrupt, frauds. If there’s any semblance of a white on black crime or incident, when race plays zero factor, here come the race hustlers. The incident in Cincinnati is a common occurrence and you even have black people supporting it. Just like the black guy that murdered the white guy at a high school track meet. There’s a reason there is almost zero compassion left.
How do I not know what others think? If I don't know what you think, it's only because you forget what you're posting halfway through a "discussion" and change topics throughout. You've told me you think voting matters but also that it doesn't, that a movement has one meaning but it also doesn't... come on now. Keep up with yourself. But dense enough to not know what others think while not letting that little barrier prevent you imputing.
So, monitoring and blah, blah on a board that's literally built to waste time and accomplish nothing of importance, while lecturing about people wasting time here. Have you ever thought of opening a burger joint while advertising red meat kills?
And labeling them idolators to boot...that's still funny as heck.
Oh well..that's why they make chocolate and vanilla.
It's not the ones on the right posting about racism, na ism, and call for boycottingThe vast majority of the traffic driving those stories has been from the right, and you still do not know what a "majority of the left" which consists of tens of millions of people means
