I can see the complacency has sucked you in to. Try going back to the majors era and tell me the difference from then and now. There isnt any. this program has under-achieved for the last 7 yrs. But if you are satisfied with the recent results then please by all means enjoy your stay at Hotel Mediocrity because 9-3 will rarely get you a sniff of a championship in any year. 3 out of 4 losses this year were blowouts, and losing to Bama is never acceptable, but with saban there looks like it may become common place. Could you imagine what a Spurrier or even a Saban could do with this talent? Probably not because you seem to not see that we seem to get outcoached or played in the big games. sure we had a nice little run in 97,98 and even in 99 we had a shot at it. since then, not even a sniff.

Lincoln already missed 2. Plus it should have been a 1st down if the "6th" reciever hadnt dropped the ball. That game was on Ainge. Chavis had a perfect game plan. Fulmer had a perfect game plan. Ya'll have to remember that team has more talent than anyone in the country and we were one play away from winning.

They were not the same LSU team that has been dominating most of the year.

Freshman qb, injuries and some off the field distractions. They were ripe for the pickins and we didnt choke em out, we just choked. It has been all too common in the big games recently.

Really? Before Fulmer we had Majors. I recall two SEC championships ('85 and '90) and several New Years bowls the years immediately preceding Fulmer. Outside of '97-'98, the Fulmer years have been remarkably similar to many of the Majors years right before he got fired.

Another thing is that if Arian Foster had any speed what so ever than he would have took that big play to the house at the end instead of getting tackled at the 15. I thought I was watching a slow motion replay when he was running down the field. I hate to see what his 40 times are but I'm sure it's not good. I've seen Ron Dayne and Jerome Bettis get down the field faster than that.
