You will know what you have in dobbs when you face Missouri and that Defensive line they have. That will be a game that isnt out of reach the way bama was and a defense with a pulse.

We haven't just fallen, we ended up in a deep azz hole. Those of us who have been around SEC football for a looong time learned to celebrate every SEC win, no matter which "little ol" team we beat. The fact that it has been SC for the past 2 years ... let that sink in.

I for one agree with wecocky. South Carolina does suck. I appreciate the fact that he was willing to take the time and trouble to come over to our board and tell us how sucky his team is.

Yeah. Still trying to figure it out. Last year Spurrier gives away the game by blowing his timeouts. This year the refs have a huge no call then Spurrier quits running the ball when it counts but oh well. This year isn't no where near as bad since we had nothing to lose.

Good point. He could easily have gotten the flag on that, and it would have put a nail in the coffin. I hope our players realize stupid penalties = losses. It wasn't flagrant and that's why I think it wasn't called, but it was flag-worthy. We dodged a bullet with that one.

So, basically you are where we were in 2012, under Dooley. Good offense, but not so much on defense. I don't think it's bad...just average. And average doesn't win a lot of games in the SEC.

Face it, having Clowney made your defense a lot better than it actually was...and it helped your team win a lot more games than you would otherwise.

No its below average. We allowed Furman to put over 300 yards of offense on us. Furman lol. Clowney was a loss but we also lost 2 other starters on the dline along with both starting corners and the starting spur player.

Your defense is trash. That's why we had the most prolific offensive outing we've had in 20 years. We're excited about it because our offense actually opperated to its potential. That is the first time we've seen that this year. Your defense sucks so bad that we should have scored 45 points. We did. That's progress for us.

After seeing SC, UGA, Tennessee etc, I don't know why any DC tries to convert to a 3-4.
