Just received a text from a friend who works in the Sports Department at the Knox News Sentinel, and he said:
"Word around the sports department at the sentinel is that Lovie Smith is the guy!"

Did anyone listen to the Knoxville radio this morning and they said talks w/ Cutcliffe had stalled because he said he would only take the job if he could bring his entire staff from Duke...anyway after that they said that late last night the University had contacted Kyle Whittingham. That's the only info they gave but it got my hopes up a bit.
