Right?

They have to be or this whole thing is a travesty. Losses to #1 and #3 and a road conference loss. They are 3-2 vs top 25.

But, boy, the Utes only have 2 losses!

Please. Glad to see this chaos. Real change needs to happen to even up things somehow. The SEC grind is brutal and getting worse next season.

They have the worst loss among top 25 teams.

They loss to a 3-8 Florida team they were double digit favorites in, that’s not “surviving the grind” that’s playing ****** football

Some of you need to ignore the talking head announcers - tomorrow they will be pushing the same argument about many other teams.

And that was ND’s only loss last season. Texas has three.
Um.... ND also lost to A&M.

Who Tx just beat.
What? Notre Dame didn’t lose to Northern Illinois this year. They’ve lost to Miami and A&M.
My bad. You're right, their other loss was to Miami this season, not a bad loss. So they only have two losses to good teams. Sorry for my error about No Ill, but that stink wont leave for a while, lol.

Texas lost to Florida... that's like ND losing to No Ill.

NO. SHOT.

At some point, with the addition of Texas, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, and Missouri... the SEC and the SEC fanbase can legitimately stop giving a rip about the rest of the NCAA.

I mean - with so many resource rich schools - schools where the "local" recruiting zones for member schools span 18 of the 48 contiguous states, you face title contending opponents multiple times a season. Running a schedule in a way that puts you in the playoff bracket is... unlikely for any and all member schools.

Can we just have a playoff for the SEC and forget that everyone else exists?

I remember being told a four team playoff systems would solve the problem with the college football bowl system.

I’m part of the problem because I’m going to watch but we should have stuck with 4. Imagine how much more meaning Ohio State losing to Michigan last year and Texas A&M losing to Texas this year would have.

Instead, both teams got an extra week off instead with a home playoff game
