Hey, Vizzini (@NorthDallas40) is this a good enough source for you that Cancun Cruz did not plan to fly to Mexico and immediately return?
What is your point? Here’s a tip folks. We just landed a ton of metal, equipped with cameras and microphones on Mars. Nearly 300 million miles away.
Yet, we have people burning their furniture and dying in their cars. C’mon people, no reason to politicize it, this shouldn’t happen, it’s greed. It’s that simple.
But why would anyone care? How can he fix it? Oh your just mad he has the ability to not be miserable. Hmm. I can think of a lot of Dem Governors violating their own Covid rules. You have been silent on that. Do you see your own hypocrisy?

I agree with this.... I’d like to see somebody stand up to the BS and just tell it like it isCruz missed an opportunity here. He should have embraced the trip.
"I am going to Cancun. I've turned off all power to my residence and office so I am not draining the already stretched system. Furthermore, I hope to find out how Cancun maintains its tropical climate all year long. Hopefully, what I learn on this fact finding mission will be useful for all Texans. Lastly, since I can only 'work the phones' to help the people in this great state and there is cell service in Cancun, I concluded I can be much more effective in that capacity when I am comfortable."
The topic is the hypocrisy of Ted Cruz ... and it couldn't be any thicker. But why would anyone care? How can he fix it? Oh your just mad he has the ability to not be miserable. Hmm. Trying to tie the two together is something El or Luth would do. I thought you were above this. The last sentence is dead on, but the rest is trash. The topic is the hypocrisy of Ted Cruz ... and it couldn't be any thicker.
In December, Sen. Ted Cruz called Austin Mayor Stephen Adler (D) a "hypocrite" for taking a trip to Cabo San Lucas with his family in the middle of the Coronavirus pandemic. Sen. Cruz strongly suggested that it was inappropriate for an elected official from the state of Texas to take a trip to a Mexican resort while his constituents were suffering back home. That was just two months ago. Sen. Ted Cruz has also tweeted advice to parents in Texas to keep their kids safe at home. This was a self-inflicted and easily avoidable political blunder on his part.
But... Didn't you vote for Biden? This has nothing to do with 1/6. He took off to Cancun because he can. I have no problem with that. God bless.
But when he spins his return as him thinking to himself, gee, I need to get back to help the people of Texas, it makes me want to puke. And then that the Texas voters would continue to vote for such a lying sanctimonious pile of crap is just unreal.
That might have worked... if Cruz hadn't already made it a practice of his to criticize other politicians (including fellow Republican Chris Christie) of taking trips to the beach during a time of crisis. There is no way to avoid the appearance of hypocrisy. That statement that you wish he had given, expresses a sentiment that those people who he has been critical of in the past, could have also expressed.Cruz missed an opportunity here. He should have embraced the trip.
