Why would we have a right? We don't have a right to see other items of evidence in a murder investigation do we?
You're making my point for me.Epstein files were sealed documents in a court case and people want to see them. While some remained sealed some have been unsealed (some redactions) and what will people gain by seeing these documents? What right did the public have to see Trump's tax returns?
yep...needs to be some level of transparency@McDad
Also releasing info like this, esptiens, Nashville shooting etc..allows the public to see the rhetoric that the people we elect use and the impact. If these people are not elected because they are spewing stuff that compells a person to commit those acts, maybe it'll bring that to light more...much like COVID did, doge (whole Largely ineffective) shone a light on government waster and fraud. Hell I'll bet even Trump's 2020 claims have brought more voting related fraud and charges then the last 50 years....the public is dumb..people can be smart..and giving people option to research and decide is how society recovers or fails..
people are seeing the Epstein files and Trump's tax returns...so there needs to be consistency.......so what not see manifestos? You're making my point for me.
I can see a difference with Epstein because of the belief high profile folks are part of the client list and we don't trust our political and legal systems with bringing people like that to justice. But I admit it is a small difference.
This sounds like justification of your morbid curiosity to me.@McDad

Setting aside the irony of "your dumb," at least we know what side you would be on here

good gravy..think I would eat beans and rice and live in a tent,Accused Minnesota assassin Vance Boelter Extracted Eyeballs From Corpses For A Living — and was on call night of double murder
Accused Minnesota assassin Vance Boelter’s most recent job was extracting eyeballs from corpses at a funeral home, according to a pal.
Boelter — a 57-year-old married dad who allegedly murdered Democratic state Rep. Melissa Hortman and her husband, Mark, and wounded another Minnesota pol and his wife early Saturday — was carrying out his gruesome extraction work as part of an organ donation program, said the friend and sometime roommate David Carlson.
“He’d always said, ‘I need rest for work so I’m sharp’ because he was extracting eyeballs. You gotta be sharp for that,” Carlson said.
He worked six days a week between two funeral homes — helping one of the businesses remove bodies from crime scenes, the Times said.
The alleged assassin had taken courses in mortuary science in 2023 and 2024 at an Iowa community college, a rep for Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC) told Local 5.

"What someone else views as a threat" doesn't matter, it still has to be reasonable. If you kill someone because you're worried about your insurance premium or for "shouting," first of all you are extremely fragile and second that's not self-defenseYou have no idea what someone else views as a threat. For instance, if you came at me shouting you'll probably take some heaters to the dome.

You were talking about car damage and insurance premiums as reasons to run people over, and "shouting" as a reason to shoot them lolIf a mob is trying to surround the vehicle, then it's a threat. Waiting around to figure out if they just want to bang on the car, or do something more is what fools do. For the rest of us, fafo.
