terrorist kills Minnesota lawmaker

The options aren't "run people over with your car or die," certain people just love imagining that scena
For people that keep talking about free speech, the right sure gets mad and starts having murder fantasies when it's used
How do you equate walking in the middle of the street with free speech?

Free speech protects people when they are in the road?

It certainly doesn't protect them when they are threatening or dangerous.
I actually think it's more of a 2nd argument. The 2nd give you the right to protect yourself. Doesn't matter if your weapon is a gun or a car.

Fully agree!!! I remind my wife all the time to pay attention when she pulls into a gas station, parking lot, etc. I do. When people are wanting to act like a**holes, let them do it away from me and I'll leave them alone. Live and let live.

You know, to borrow from our good friend Luther, there is a continuum of lethality based on context.
And as a safety tip, buy your gas from the outside islands. Your not trapped if something goes sideways. This is mostly for concern of fire.

I always thought this one was interesting. That car should have completely stopped and thought more about the cause instead of making it to safety. Remember, we all need to know our role when a revolution is occurring.

That would be an "Oh hell No."

Watch out! Time will get away from you. 1992. Some around here weren't born yet and don't get it. Now, lets talk about watching those moon landings in school.
The earliest I remember was Apollo 15. and I remember clearly my sadness when Apollo 17 ended the program. Shortly thereafter, my childhood dream was to become an astronaut. I wanted to be the first man on Mars. I had no concept whatsoever that five decades would pass without us even leaving earth orbit again 😢

Remember watching the moon landing in school. Have told this before, but saw Apollo 17's launch. It was sad that was the last.

I tried to stay up to watch the launch but inward in elementary school and wasn’t allowed to stay up late since launch was delayed about 2 hours. I think it was between 1 and 2 am when 17 launched

It was really early in the morning. We were standing on a bridge with a group of about 30-40 people. It was something else and everyone was cheering "go baby go!"
