Most likely Kent having the same problems Turner had last season after his scope. If you remember how miffed Barnes was about it, Kent hasn't earned the latitude turner was awarded.

Whether its Blackshear or Blaut, this will likely be a talent upgrade if the odd man out is Kent, Burns, or Pember. Selfishly, I hope it isn't Burns as I believe he has the most potential of those three.

@bleedingTNorange what about the situation do you not like? Do you not trust that the player is truly in the doghouse, or just don't believe the player has gotten a fair shake?

One of those 3 you mentioned is not like the other. Also fwiw this one is close to being a done deal. Credit Schwartz and Barnes for keeping us in this one. Now I am not saying 100% done as to alot can happen but look for more smoke to pickup the closer he is to his visit

If you want to be paid like you're elite then give us elite effort and whether everyone agrees or not I like the prospect of Plavsic and Kent both at the 5 and I feel good about ORN and Burns as your 4's.

Fulkerson probably is my pick to get sent down the road but Barnes likes him so I dont see that happening so which post would be your odd man out?

Your choice is Blackshear or Pember.

Hard to play when u are still in high school or prep school. Hard to imagine Barnes telling a recruit to kick rocks before he is really on the team

Reading between the lines, that is how I read it as well. It fits the mold of not being a popular opinion, as well, given he is a local kid. Many wouldn't like the idea altogether, but even more so if it affects a local boy. Also, lends credence to the idea of it coming as a surprise, as not many people would believe a kid who has yet to play his first collegiate game (or practice, for that matter) is already in the doghouse.
