why aren't they interviewing the hostesses?
It reeks of fear, someone really doesn't want to see Tennessee get back to the top.
Driving 3-4 hours on a Friday night to JUST hold up a sign is something that may not worry some of you. The issue isn't necessarily the actions, it's the motive. These girls may have given up their Friday night to do this willingly, but if you think that this is something a college girl REALLY wants to do with their Friday nights, then maybe ignorance is bliss, IMO. I can't fathom that college chicks would willingly go see HS boys in any aspect, unless they were dating of course. Even if they were, holding up a sign that say "Come to UT" isn't something that's smart, and as I said before, Compliance should be chastised for letting something happen like that, even if it is some conspiracy theory that some of you claim that it must be.
The timing of it sucks. It so very obvious it was done to sabotage our recruiting efforts. Whoever it is sucks out loud.Truth. Not sure who though. As dozens have already stated, the big problem is that they're gonna be prodding around our daily recruiting habits and that's never good for any school. ImO the actual hostess issue will turn out much like the JJ thing. If there's no evidence that coaches are actually INSTRUCTING these girls to do certain things. Well get the benefit of the doubt.who knows

Could they just be fans??? Could they want to see UT land good recruits??? What if I did the same thing because I wanted a kid to come to UT is that a violation?
Don't worry some of the yocals will twist this from hostesses holding up signs to orgies with poor unsuspecting recruits. The only good thing I can see out of this whole thing is visiting UT just moved to the top of every elite recruit's list.
Another note of interest. Why hasn't Tennessee invested more money into hiring better and more efficient compliance officers for the football program? It seems like to me that they are having these problems occur because the compliance office hasn't been astute enough to educate their administration, boosters, coaches and staff. While some of the blame has to fall on the individuals, it's the university's compliance office that should be looked at.
Finally, someone that gets it. It's not a coach issue, it's an athletic department failure.
Fanhood should require some level of objective thought.Could they just be fans??? Could they want to see UT land good recruits??? What if I did the same thing because I wanted a kid to come to UT is that a violation?
