Over 1-0. us and I said this was looking like a HR game and it was. Beat a great pitcher but we looked kind of pitiful striking out 12 times. that is 4 innings worth!!!!!

I knew this would be a low scoring game but thought we'd get more than a run. They have a pitcher she has beat some very good teams. Other then the Bishop girls and that last batter they are overmatched as a hitting team. Great job by Rogers to come in a shut them down.

NC starting pitcher is excellent as well not as great as Liberty's best pitcher but she is tough to hit as well. NC will be another tough test I know Tennessee wants these road wins because they really help the resume come tournament time. Liberty will win close to 40 games like they did last season.

Exactly as I would have it for 10 games in a row to get some consistency and so the players have to quit guessing. Holcomb has been and still is solid for the 3rd year in a row. Hannon can handle center if she hits and HB and AA rotating the RF position as to the needs of the hitting lineup. Use the three fastest runners when needed and score some runs. JMHO as always!

Listened to the game and it sounded like the ump had a huge strike zone inside and outside.That may be one explanation for the anemic hitting in this game.

Yes and I did too. Brian Rice did not seem that impressed with the calls but we were fortunate to win. Cant wait to hear Caylan is ready to pitch whenever that is. Having only 2 pitchers is not good as we have proved for the last how many years? Cant get to the big dance with 2. I hope she may can get in a inning or two tomorrow so this weekend she will not be rusty! JMHO as always!

Throwing strikes is certainly the key and we have a couple pitchers that get behind to many hitters.

Might have something to do with Karen calling pitches
