Yes and I did too. Brian Rice did not seem that impressed with the calls but we were fortunate to win. Cant wait to hear Caylan is ready to pitch whenever that is. Having only 2 pitchers is not good as we have proved for the last how many years? Cant get to the big dance with 2. I hope she may can get in a inning or two tomorrow so this weekend she will not be rusty! JMHO as always!
I thought he was fairly consistent except for maybe a couple of high strikes. He was a lot better than I have seen from most of the Umps this season. His job wasn't very hard for the Lady Vols as they were consistently swinging out of the zone and Liberty was going with the first pitch when Matty was in there.

Ralph said what I have said about Holcomb, Great kid, great outfielder and above average at the plate when she stays in the box. She worked hard and kept her head up and toughed it out. I have been one of biggest critics for stepping out! Kudos to her.

Depends on which 2. You can get there with 2 if they are Abbott and Rhodes, Renfroe and Hosfield or Renfroe and Renfroe. You just need 2 that are durable and 1 of those that can be dominant in stretches. I'm not sure whether the innings have worn on Moss and Arnold or they just aren't capable of being dominant for longer than a game at a time. Maybe a little of each. But I agree with you that it's not likely we will make it with just 2 of the current 3.

Agree that most of those you mentioned were mentally tough and durable. Thanks!

She makes great plays anywhere near 3rd, she would have to change her whole mindset and instincts anywhere else.
Yep. I don't see the wisdom of taking an AA 2nd baseman and moving them to SS any more than taking maybe next year an AA 3rd baseman to SS. Each case weakens two positions. If Gracie is the SS of the future and with all the praise I heard Karen give her let her play there and stop the experiments. Ralph said yesterday they were worried bout Gracies leg catching so much and I agree. On occasion to give someone some rest but with Morgan at first the infield will just fine! Phillips caught ok if the darn ball would quit popping out of the glove. We have to have her bat our newfound slugger Haley Bearden. JMHO as always!
