What a terrific photo! Elsa Morrison took the team on her back and came through with such a confident homer that you’d think it was hit by a senior. That swing has near-future 1st Team All-American written all over it. Just a thing of beauty.

Cross-posted because I know these forums can get a bit busy, but I'm a bit of an infrequent flyer here. I took the scenic route to attending UT. I'm going online now. We get all the same perks, including ticket accessibility. Looking at hopping on a flight if we make it to the champ series. Have a friend who works for the airlines who will hook me up. Wondering if there's are student tickets for the event itself. Looked it up on Google and the AI overview (not sure if it's accurate obviously) says the universities who make it get allotted so many student tickets. Does anyone know? Can anyone speak to this? Thank you!

It’s great to see the Lady Vols finally take the bat off of their shoulders.

When players crowd the plate with all that armor, I am reminded of the stunt Bill Veech pulled in MLB in 1951.

Veech's team the St Louis Browns sent little person 3 foot 11 inch Eddie Gaedel to the plate as a publicity stunt and to make a point.

When Eddie got in his batting stance there was no strike zone. Four pitches later Eddie was replaced with a pinch runner but Veech had made his point.
