We will be fine. I’m not worried at all. And neither should anyone else. Sure, losing Pannell isn’t ideal but we are going to be fine.

the tennessee fanbase is literally the definition of the sky is falling. players are going to step up. we’re going to see players vastly improve next year. were might have one of the freshman step in and be elite. we still have the portal to work. CALM

My OU friends were sayingsome of the same things last year, minus the All-American pitcher. Things turned out just fine there. We have a lot of talent on our roster. Young and not much experience, yes, but we are going to be just fine next year.

I mean, it depends on your interpretation of “just fine”. For some people that means getting to the tournament. For the majority of this fan base, “just fine” should mean challenging for the SEC title and getting into the women’s college World Series. At this rate the roster that we have coming in next season will be lucky to get out of regionals. It’s not just losing Pannell. It’s losing her, Gibson, Nugent, and Mealer. That’s almost all of your homerun hitters and the VAST majority of your RBI output.

Also, OU won the four previous NCs before this season. They are more than proven as a program. If they had a down year this season, it wouldn’t have been the biggest deal in the world.

This is the new norm though and if you can’t beat them then join them. Teams in every sport are starting to recruit more and more in the gray. And if you think that everything was above board before NIL then you are very wrong. You’re just upset that they’re succeeding in the portal and we’re not.

I’m not upset. I know this is the new norm and that technically it’s been happening for a long time just “under the table”. It is what is. Pannell leaving is not the end of the world though. Our roster is very talented albeit young. Players will step up though and the team will be fine

If Doyle can hit, I think she will play 3B. I can see Clarke or Butt at 1B. Bella would get shortstop assuming she can hit a lick.

The outfield is really where we have the logjam. Because we have the Leaches, Morgan, Holley, and Knight.

I can’t see the Leach twins not both starting in the OF. Who you put out there with them remains to be seen but my guess would be the transfer, Knight

If you think that we will be fine then I think you should give us who your line up would be at this point. From where I stand we have a low batting average, with low power numbers. If we could see your picture then maybe we would feel a lot better.

They will have to prove themselves. It’s not as if they hit for a very high average. They both hit less than .300 this year. Gabby is obviously the better player. The best hitters will play in the outfield for sure.

3B-Doyle or transfer
SS-Faw
OF-Leach Twins and Knight
DH-Clark if not at 1B or Doyle
