March, if rumors are to be believed. The clearing house isn’t going to have any teeth, those deals can be adjusted to fit whatever they say the rules are today.

About the only recourse right now is scheduling power. Refuse to play them in non-conf or in tournaments pre-conference that invite them.

Now you know why I was glad Texas won it all. Not a fan of Mike White but at least he isn't building his team by being the highest bidder to transfers.

Are you saying she signed the NIL in March before she entered the portal and before the portal was even opened?

Not exactly instilling confidence with those three. Doyle barely saw time and was a walking strikeout, Clarke was meh and Morrison, while great, will still be a freshman. Doyle was a top recruit, too, and you see how she performed this season.

If we don't get a couple of big time transfers we can kiss any chance of the WCWS next year goodbye.

You have to be joking if you think those 4 can make up for the offensive home run and RBI numbers of Pannell. We have lost all of our top home run hitters to graduation or the portal who accounted for the majority of the run production until the end of the season. This is a huge loss regardless of how you put it. Tennessee struggled to play small ball for a lot of the season and without the home run they will have to get creative in the portal.

Destiny- starter/backup, portal- graduated
Charli- 5th pitcher - still on roster- graduated
Ahlin- base running/backup - graduated
Jackie- bullpen/backup, portal- graduated
Camryn- utility backup- still on roster
Avery- picked up when White was hurt- not on roster. No longer playing, still at UT


Brockenbrough- backup- transfer 2024 to Clemson
Mosley- backup freshman season-portal- no longer playing

A big reason why we didn't make it to OKC in 2024 vs 2023 is because Milloy, Puni and West were nowhere to be found in the supers. If they had played even average we would've gotten to OKC. Honestly, Gottshall was the biggest loss from the team.

If you go get another corner, you’re running into the issue of having too many of the same player. We don’t want to be Corner U.

I anticipate Morrison behind the plate. Strongest arm Tennessee will have had behind the plate.

Agree on Payton. You don’t replace a #1 with freshman and a #3 from the portal.

Don’t really need arms, though. Need big bats. We’ve seen it year after year. The pitching is there. Last year we thought we needed another with Pickens and Gottshall. This year we figured we’d need more behind Pickens. It’s the offense we should spend the big bucks to get IMO.
