I guess the next question is, who do we get from the portal? We've already gotten two great players coming from Boise State + a head-scratching edition coming from EKU. We have a fantastic freshman class incoming but they will still be freshmen. We really need some extra speed + some big hitters. We need to replace Nugent's and Gibson's bats.

Ok but Tennessee has never even been so idk why it’s even a discussion. People want to act like we are a blue blood basketball program for some reason and it blows my mind lol

I don't think it's a bad thing that fans want to get to a FF lol especially when we keep coming up short by one game.

I think Rick is a great coach but the bottom line is he isn't the coach you need if your goal is the Final Four.

Some people act like Tennessee never heard of basketball until Rick got here. If you look to history Tennessee is 2nd only to Kentucky in the SEC. And a lot of those years were when the NCAA took 1/4 and 1/2 of the teams to the tournament than they do now.

Auburn....most of their fans didn't know where their basketball arena was until Pearl got there.

Ok so who exactly are they going to hire that wants to come to TENNESSEE for basketball. The great coaches only want to be at the blue bloods, other than Mark Few. That’s why I always laugh whenever the discussion comes up 😂

Hopefully Karen can find a couple of pitchers for next season from existing ones or new and purchase some hitting and make another run. You like championships Danny so give Karen some $.

Being one of only 4 teams left playing is SUCCESS.

Wonder who Auburn was gonna get....Bama....UConn....what about Florida that just won a national championship? And I'm not sure he's even shaving yet.

Who you gonna get is a cop out. The AD makes huge money to make those hires. I like Barnes....but who you gonna get is just a cop out.

All of them besides Oklahoma the past 5 years. We hit some good shots today and they made some really good plays that's just the way the stick ball games go. Sometimes you're lucky sometimes there lucky.

How is it a cop out whenever you can’t even give me one name 🤣

Every single coach for those teams you listed was an up and coming coach with no national championship, no Final 4, no Elite 8, no Sweet 16 on their résumé prior. The furthest any of them went was the Round of 32. And we all know the Florida coach would have been fired had Florida actually cared about character, but because they were winning they decided to do nothing and it paid off for them.
