Said it last season with Alabama Supers and we saw it today, we need chaos speed. Not one but multiples.

Yes that same one that also has thrown a no hitter. Pickens is our ace. Multiple teams bested her with homers this World Series. Doesn’t make her any less of an ace. So just because their ace had one off game vs us that means we should score at least 4 runs every single time against her???

Any team in any sport that makes it to the final four is a remarkable feat!
The LV’s have been proof of this for years now. Only several teams in the SEC can lay claim to this.
In order to win it ALL in any sport requires a team to have more than talent. In my opinion, there are several X-factors involved. These factors can be argued forever so I’ll leave it alone. I am proud of the LV’s and especially KP who’s shoulders are probably hurting from the load she’s had to carry. Hopefully, we can get some great players in addition to what we have.
And, I don’t think it would hurt to work on speed drills in the offseason. Go LV’s

I hate this ending as much as any of you guys, but this has been a fun year.

Are you saying she was off....or that we were actually hitting her? As usual....when it's gut check time for the marbles we can't hit or can't score. Been that way for years...Name another school that year after year and even with pitchers that were and are the best in the game can't get run support? I'll wait...

Yeah just not as good as Texas. Need to add major speed if not getting power. Lineup is just not heavy either with power or speed. Good team and great season but to win it all need more offense added.

I really love her pitching and don’t want her to go anywhere BUT if she was my daughter and wanted ring or money, I would tell her go get it.

Do I want her to leave? NO. But anyone who says that would not be in KP’S best interest has their head in the Sand. Ask Canady, if she got the money that is rumored. That kind of money invested at her age is a heck of a head start for her financial stability.

Tough loss today, but overall I am not nearly as disappointed with the way this season ended as I have been in other recent seasons. Tennessee showed a lot of fight in this postseason, and often looked really, really strong and capable of winning it all. But diamond sports can be cruel. One bad game -- hell, one bad pitch or one bad error! -- can end a terrific season. I think the Lady Vols had a great season, and I enjoyed it very much.

Gotta hope we keep our young stars in Knoxville and that adding some of these portal players will get us into NEXT year's final series. 🤞🏻

I’m saying all because we scored 4 runs off a pitcher in a singular game doesn’t mean jack squat. This was an entirely new game. That other poster was acting like we would’ve been getting hits off her had the hitting coach not been ejected. It would have been the same result with or without the coach.

When you have been a head coach for damn near 40 years you'd think you would at least play for it all.

I told my brother last night that I didn't think we'd win a game today after the game yesterday + quick turnaround. I think that had more to do with the lack of hitting than anything their pitchers did.

I am so damn proud of this team. Probably the grittiest team we've had here in years. They showed it in the Supers and they showed it in OKC. I will miss Sophia and Laura but Boo will be who I miss the most, being a four year starter here. It's going to be weird not having her on the field. She might be my favorite player here since Raven Chavanne.

It was a tough task. Last season was a disappointment this season they finished right where they should have with a chance to win it all.

Yep, most of the great teams nowadays hit homers. Gotta have some firepower if you want a chance to hoist the trophy.

She’s not transferring so any talk of that is pointless. She started her career here and she will end it here as a Lady Vol.

I don’t ever expect anything other than a Sweet 16 in single elimination tournament. Too many things can go wrong and it’s all about timing. If we had Knecht this year instead of last year then we probably do play for the national championship.
