Ump keeps gifting them 1st strikes and that changes all the plate dynamics. Both low and outside pitches KP does not get. Their ace has mixed it up really well and takes advantage of those gifts. Fortunately he did not factor big in their run.

I don’t understand the “we don’t have any hitters crowd”. We do have hitters. The Leach sisters, Dodge and Clark are all freshmen. And they have all looked really good this year. Pannell is a sophomore. Nugent and Boo, while Seniors, have been great as well.

Home runs given up has been the difference in the loses in post season. VOLS have hit the ball as well as anyone.
