I really wish the NCAA would crack down on the bat antics in baseball and softball.

The NCAA is about as worthless as ESPN. I am shocked that EVERY SB game I watch, not just the LV’s, they miss or just blatantly get calls wrong. My local high school umps/refs are terrible but I expect that. They are just doing a part time gig that pays no $.

You act like we just let them have it. OU has won 4 WCWS in a row. They have championship DNA, we didn't choke, they just took it from us. It's do or die time now, hopefully this fires them up to get back for a rematch. Time will tell.

My comment about choke (I should have said in 7th) was indeed an overreaction. It’s softball - it happens.

But pitching to their home run hitter was coaching malpractice in my opinion. I get the argument - good on good. But contextually, she had already taken KP for a homer.

i don’t think tn fans ever “forget and move on.” i’m 99% sure the girls are gonna come out ready to play tomorrow. you have to have that attitude in softball.

My comment about choke (I should have said in 7th) was indeed an overreaction. It’s softball - it happens.

On the same note KP had just given up 7 HRs this year. The likely hood she would give up 2 in one game and 2 to the same batter odds would be low for the homer in Vegas but it happened.

Actually high school umpires make around $100 dollars per game depending on mileage. Some are bad but most I see are decent……….. it’s more difficult than you think. The plate umpire will make well over 100 decisions on ball/strike, out/safe, or foul/fair. The law of averages says they will be wrong at least 5 times. But NCAA umpires should be better.

I don't mind pitching to her, but the pitch location was horrible. A robust size hitters power is from the waist up. If you are going to pitch to her -nothing over six inches above the knee. If you are going to miss- miss low. She was waiting on that rise ball.

It was a hanging changeup. Don’t blame Karlyn the game should have been out of reach at that point.

Its unreal. After every loss if I was Pickens I would transfer or fire CKW...

While this was a huge gut punch, I don't know why everyone is saying this. Pickens is playing on a consistently good team that's in the world series. She doesn't need to transfer.
