Given the committees procedures around conferences and geography most of the bracket fits together like a puzzle with a few pieces to move around oncemthe top 16 are set.

Unless they made the trip the previous year if Ohio teams are in the tourney they are coming to Knoxville.

We need bats, bats, and more bats. Our team did look very excited to be at 7 so that’s a great sign. We may see some upsets in several regions and hopefully Jordy Bahl doesn’t win that region. Maybe UConn will show up.

Nebraska will pitch the hell out of Bahl. I wouldn’t be surprised if she’s in all and part of every game through supers if they make it. She is a workhorse and can handle it.

Sounds like a rule that should be changed. So, if it rains on the finals of the NCAA Softball Tournament Championship day, does that mean there could be no Champion, or like in this case, 2 “co-champions”?

In all seriousness, how do these SB regionals get picked? How does Alabama get high school teams at #15 and us not so much. At least Bama we’ll get their ass handed to them in the supers.

Geography

Jackson State and Belmont are both there since they can bus.

Same reason Miami, Ohio State and UNC are in Knoxville.

Its also fairly easy to see how they got VT as the Regional 2 seed.

Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Georgia and Kentucky were out due to same conference rules.

So that pretty much left Stanford, VT or Nebraska. Stanford to Oregon was easy to keep them in pacific time zone. At that point they probably went with S curve and I imagine VT was 17-19.

how is having ohio state and nc favorable. both are very good teams.
