Tennessee Softball 2025

the pitching hasn't been decent this weekend other than the 3rd inning today. I wish we could have gotten something in the 1st might have been a different game

Flush this one. Nice job Erin. Initial goal was to get one which we did last night. We can win the series tomorrow with Karlyn tossing. Gotta get the bats working early.

a huge positive is nuwers performance. she held a great OK offense to no runs in her outing.
Coach Weekly obviously started the wrong pitcher today. Should have been Erin instead of Sage. Erin made a huge statement on her behalf. To hold a team like Oklahoma scoreless in her innings is a major accomplishment. Sure, she gave up four runs to Arkansas but she obviously learned from that experience and made adjustments about where to put the ball. I hope Coach Weekly takes close notice of her work today.

Turned out not to make much difference since we could only score one run. She is our second best pitcher no doubt about it.

If Erin had been pitching Gabby doesn't misplay the outfield fly in the sun in right field and we might have won on Peyton's homerun, so yes, it does make a difference.

You believe you get the same sequence regardless of who’s in? Again, that’s not how it works.
Granted, the sequence of events may not have been the same, but who's to say we wouldn't have won. There possibly may not have been a three-run homer. We'll never know.

we will never know. Could have won, could have lost as by less or more.
You can always win 1 to 0 or lose by the same score. I think if you can't at least four runs your chances of beating any of the great SEC teams no matter who is pitching your in big trouble of losing. Hard to shut any of them out and yes our pitching gave up four yesterday and Nuwer should be our number two pitcher. I don't know if she pitches a shutout, but she did pitch one for the innings she worked yesterday.

These umps are terrible
Dodge isn’t a SEC 2B
Why aren’t we using pinch hitters because we have a handful of girls not hitting in the lineup. Why aren’t we using Dez bat this weekend

Karen just cost us, why didn’t she have a punch running in for Sophia. If she knew how to coach it would be a tie game.
