It is facts that Destiny has the lowest fielding percentage on the team currently. Faw is second to last. We are not a good fielding team at this point. How am I contradicting myself? What exact point are you making?

It is curious that the fielding errors are widespread and not limited to the two young ladies in question. There are certainly many possible explanations. One common factor is the number of innings Pickens is throwing. Is it possible that those fastballs are coming off bats so hard that they become harder to field properly? I don't know. Yes, the balls are coming off hard and faster. Which is why you’ll see MI deeper most of the time. Most hitters are on top of the ball and hitting grounders. Unless it’s a straight on play the ball in the hole will be a dead sprint to get there and get a glove on ball moving off the bat at 70+MPH.

A lot times with Karyln they are not making solid contact which does cause some weird spins.

I went to the Georgia series a couple of weeks ago and was told that she had aggravated an old injury towards the end of the fall, and her timeline for being 100% was well into the season, so that’s probably what they are looking at. Better chance of her helping next year fully healthy than trying to battle for a spot midway through this year.
