They are #1 RPI and ahead of us in the league standings. I imagine they already are on a higher seed line than us.

Ford may be confused about the calculation for her to get a share of the league title like I was initially. Her problem is the win % and she has one less game than OU.

Yes they are second no matter what happens in this game. Texas might have one more win and one more loss.

Apparently the heat had nothing to do with the game being played/delayed/not played.

Some mouth coming from A&M dugout about Karen in the 1st inning.

You may be right, but I really hope that’s not true. It may look good on paper, but it ignores the mindset and emotions of the players. There’s no switch that says we won’t try to win this game, but we will try to win the next game, that you can turn on or off. How much better would the players feel with a win today heading into the tournaments. When you quit trying to win, whether because of the players, or a Coach’s decision, you quit winning. Winning keeps momentum and confidence high, and brings more winning. I believe in sports it’s always true, you play to win the game. Win the SEC, then go win the NCAA!

Karen can't control the weather. They rescheduled to have the opportunity to play. If the game is cancelled, it will be because it met cancellation criteria.

This game is meaningless when you consider the big picture.Do not use your ace pitcher so often in regular season games or even in SEC tourney that you wear her arm to a frizzle and she can not be her best in the NCAA's....that is common sense.....

No player believes this game is meaningless. Those parents that flew from CA to see their kids play don’t think it’s meaningless.

Not sure i agree with all you said about KP! She will pitch as long as she can and she knows her arms and body and how much she can take. She is a trained athlete and will pitch as such. My biggest problem with this team is the fact we just cant or dont hit. KW said she was going back away from power hitting to the short game which as we can see does not work i think in the SEC. No disrespect intended but just my humble opinion!

Did not say players thought it was meaningless .....I said in the big picture this game is meaningless and this was in response to a post that said they should be using Pickens in this game .....do not wear her arm out in regular season games by over using her .....save her arm for the NCAA's .To me that is common sense

Everyone to their own opinion on Pickens .......I would recommend looking at what happened last year with Pickens.....her arm was overused in regular season and SEC tourney and that is why they did not make it to the World Series .....course that is just my opinion.

Trying to win the series of two top 5 programs. If you’re worried about her arm, complain against EKU or Clemson. She’s an elite athlete with one of the best trainers in the game.

Pretty sure we didn’t make it to the WS because the offense couldn’t score 1 run against Alabama in game 2, after she tossed 9 innings of scoreless relief. Game went 14 innings.
