Tennessee Softball 2025

Throw the potential 5 year in and you have overall bad roster management/evaluations by the staff since 2021 class.

* no guarantees Pickens would play here for a 5th if she has the chance.

This roster will look different next season as a whole regardless, you have 2 pitchers coming in that are on par with Nuwer coming in. Sage does she stay around and be #2-4 heading into her Jr year? Does Tanner head home and Charli, I believe graduates early (not 100%, but believe that’s the case). Those I've spoke with said Karen wants a 5 pitcher staff as the 2023 year with 6 was too many.
What’s the rumor and likely hood of this 5th year and what class would it start with?

Funny comparison on a team that is 4-15 in conference. Only other pitching staff comparable is UCLA and look how their coach manages there staffs innings, 97, 81, 80

Fisher FR - started against us.
Tinsley Jr- #2 pitcher behind Deal for OU for the class of 22. Pickens was #2 as a pitcher/hitter

almost identical

With Terry as their #1

Pretty good balance for keeping players happy and pitching in big games.

It’s a NCAA rule being voted on expected to pass in the coming weeks.

Not sure which sports it would affect and would be on a per player basis for schools I’d imagine.

It will be voted on in January and will go into effect for the 26-27 academic year. So anyone who is a junior this year would have the opportunity for the fifth year. The rule will be five years to play five seasons, no more redshirts or injury hardship waivers.

🤣🤣🤣 …hater… 🤙🏼
Consistent. That is the word you are looking for, @chuckiepoo. Consistent. You have to give me that - across all the threads we frequent. 🤣

(Seriously, the Summitt blue is a tremendous color, I just don’t like it as a dominant color, because, well, I root for Tennessee and they have been the BIG ORANGE all my life. It does make for a fantastic accent color for the LV.

But, the blue is in an entirely different (and better!) category than those black abominations the men’s teams wear. I can root for a team wearing Summitt Blue, I’d just rather they wore Orange.

The men’s blacks look like the team parents were satisfied with the “budget” jersey option so they didn’t spend money on the upgrade to the “standard” uniform package.)

*Consistent*

I will surrender that ground. 🤙🏼

leach has to learn plate discipline. if she can learn to swing early and be aggressive and not dig herself into a hole, she will be a great hitter.

Need to have a big inning just have the feeling Sage is going to get in trouble in one of the innings coming up.
