It’s actually so confusing why our offense is so bad this early. Like is it what Chris is trying to do with the offense, the lineup, players not playing with urgency?

With such a small staff this year we knew the pitching was always going to be a question mark. And on top of that you could attribute numerous runs today to errors or miscues behind our pitchers. We always knew we may need to win a few slug fests but the offense isn’t clicking at the moment. The pitching was just as disappointing as the hitting today IMO…and maybe moreso.

Agreed this team can turn it around given the talent, but it’s going to come down to how the players make the adjustments and many how the coaches deliver information. Obviously being on the road for 3 weekends and not just that but being in 3 different time zones must be hard physically. Idk what it is going to take but they have to figure it out soonDisappointed that we lost to the two best teams we played and that neither game was close. Consistent hitting and pitching depth the concerns as we head home. Not sure how much we are going to be able to tell about our progress based on our opponents the next two weeks. Need to have it sorted out when Missouri comes to town though. This can still be a really good team.
Well the triple that was hit got by Rylie all the way to the wall. Not sure it would be an error but definitely looked misplayed. Des should’ve gone to 1B but bobbled on one occasion, which then came in on a HR iirc. Just those miscues could be cleaned up. All in time thoLooked to me like all of the runs were earned.
