Tennessee Softball 2023

If we lose we play the loser of OU/Stanford (Stanford) in the next game. Whoever wins that second game switches over to the other side.
I think it’s the other way around right..I just looked at last years bracket.

The two winners of OU/Stanford UT/Northwestern or Alabama play each other in the second game. The loser of that second game then moves down to the other half and winner stays in the same bracket. From the way I saw it

So if we win the first game and then face Oklahoma and lose we move to a new bracket?

Yes, or win the first two and OU will flip to the bottom of the bracket. Winning the first game is key to making it to the title series. Win or lose the second game against OU and you avoid them again until the title match . Lose the first game, and then you have to beat OU twice to avoid elimination just to get to the title series.

Just wondering, did all of the water recede from the picture of the trail you posted?

I saw that you liked a post of mine and didn't know of way to ask you this without intruding on a current thread, is there a way to do that? IDK, Whenever I see your username, I equate it with the thought, "Lives in an area that got an incredible amount of rain. "

There WAS flooding, yet virtually no national coverage" and that just struck me as odd given the pictures I had to hunt down vs just open up any news service (including the weather channel) to find out more as it was happening. The weather channel did mention, but they certainly didn't cover it well. It seemed odd to me and still does.

Receded possibly within hours. That area was within miles of the Gulf. Takes a minute to fill up, but drains quickly once the rain stops.

That’s really wild, and seems very fair. Makes the 4 seed look pretty good.

look at Drewbydoo accidently finding his way into the softball 🥎 forum lol.
Volstylexx = synonymous with rain. I feel like my Houston peeps would be proud of the representation! Yeah as chuckiepoo said, it recedes quickly here. We’ve been in the 90s most of the week so hot and dry currently.

Fun fact: Houston wasn’t a desirable place to live pre-1900s. It was swamp land. Everyone lived on the coast in Galveston. Then the great Hurricane of 1900 hit and killed 8,000 - 12,000 people making it the deadliest (still to this day) Hurricane to ever hit the U.S. Over 80% of the city was destroyed so folks moved inland to Houston. Fast forward 120 years and it’s now a suburban metro area of 8,000,000 people making it the third largest city in America.

3 videos at ESPN, one of G’s grand slam, Payton’s interview, and Karen’s interview.

Karen (who btw looks like she has no wrinkles):

Talked about the girls on the team who believed in her and TN Softball, her amazing Coaching staff, and the supportive administration, and when asked how it was to go it alone, said I’ve never done anything by myself.
I wouldn’t be anywhere without Ralph. He helped me recruit all these girls. He’s as much a part of this as anyone on this campus.

Congrats to Karen, Ralph, our Coaches, our Fantastic Team, their families, our fans, and everyone who helped this Team succeed.

I heard Rocky Top played over the PA...I thought during regionals and supers the home team can't do that. The hosting was you get the home crowd advantage but the PA system was neutral. Or was I taking crazy pills?

NCAA adopted a few years ago what conference tournaments do, play the fight song on every run scored and they get all of the walk-up and pitching warmup songs for the players of all the teams and play them.
