That decision to squeeze there was the best decision all game. Something we should have been doing all season. Got to play for 1 run there and put the pressure on Texas. We would’ve scored or loaded bases if 3rd baseman didn’t make an unbelievable play.

Random thoughts while swimming:

I like Alabama's Coach Murphy. However, just not sure playing Montana Fouts (in a brace) is a good idea. I know she wants to play. I get it! However, with a little luck, Montana will need that knee for the next 70 year.

According to Lexi Kifoyl, (as told by TV personalities, at the Oklahoma State Super Regional last night) transferred to Oklahoma State after visiting and believing the Oklahoma State training staff gave her the best opportunity to get healthy. I'm sure there is more to the story. I don't know why she left Alabama.

We will need to play our best softball tomorrow. Remember, Texas rallied and won game 2 and 3 at Arkansas last year.

Texas will probably start their freshman RHP, Citaly Guterrez. Her record is 13-5-2 in 103 innings and her ERA is under 2. But inside the numbers tells how tough she will be to beat.

She loss to Virginia Text by one in extra innings. She lost twice to Oklahoma. One of those losses was 4 to 3 with Oklahoma scoring 3 in the bottom of the 7th. She lost twice to Baylor (Tennessee did also). One of those losses was a one run decision (Ashley's only loss was a 1-0 loss to Baylor also.)

I plan to be watching!
