But lets take that same data set back to 1916-1971...the data indicates that Tennessee beats Florida like a drum, its not until recently that Florida has had so much dominance over Tennessee. the data also showed before Fulmer 84,85,91 Florida also beat Tennessee like a drum. So whatever your feelings are on Fulmer, 152-52 with a NC along with a 8-7 bowl record, 2 SEC Championships, and 6 SEC titles is not a bad resume.
I'm sorry, what?
I hope CDD does a good job, and to be honest, if given time I think he will do a good job. The man seems bright, excited and he knows football, he grew up in a football family. But it is a shame that Tennessee has had to go after coaches without any kind of winning percentage.
Until Tennessee can get over the fear of Florida, it dont matter who the coach is....it seems like in the past we go into games knowing we cant win...hopefully CDD can change that attitude as well.
But like him or not, Fulmer was a good coach and good for Tennessee.
I don't understand the logic behind most of your post, and the bold is absolutely debatable.
