He runs absolutely NOTHING like Barry Sanders.

If you go back and read my reply, I NEVER said anything the way he runs. The moves, doesn't take solid hits, vision and speed. But he does have some characteristics in the way they run. JMO. GBO!!!

Yes, college and Pro's. How bout you?
I watched Barry Sanders in both college and pro as well. I guess the difference is that I realized that this kid (at 5'11") is about 3 inches taller than Barry Sanders. Also, other than both of them being fast, the only other thing this kid seems to have in common with Barry Sanders is that they both play the running back position. None of his highlights show a style even remotely resembling Barry Sanders.

Don't get me wrong. I'm happy that he committed to the Vols. We can use all the speed we can get. He just doesn't resemble Barry Sanders (though, nobody really closely resembles Barry Sanders - he was incredibly unique in his running style). Hopefully this kid will stick.

Watch the highlights again, the vision and cutbacks. Doesn't stop when he cuts, makes people miss. Doesn't take hits. You can't teach that. I'm with you that we can take all the speed we can get. I met him in 2005 in Dallas at the Doak Walked awards along with Earl Campbell. all is good my VFL friend. Peace!! GBO!!!
