Tennessee Needs to win out

We would LIKE to win out. Dont NEED to win out. Making a bowl game & more importanty showing vast improvement after 3-7 season, when many thought we be at 5-7. Is a big deal.
3-7 was an all SEC schedule. Pruitt would have been 6-6 if he had 3 OOC pansies on the schedule. In 2019 he was 7-5 and 5-3 in SEC. I can't believe people had us going 5-7. Everyone I saw had us winning 6.6 games which looks to be correct. Anywhere between 6 and 7 wins.

I've always thought this was a 9-3 roster with the schedule this year. We need to win out now. I am not down on Heupel but if he only beats Vanderbilt and South Alabama to finish, that's a problem. Way to much talent on this team. inexcusable to lose to Pitt, Ole miss at home and possibly UK. I think we pound UK though.
just smiles down chill out young one...lol...we are heading that way. Love the dog tho ......lol

Georgia State says hi, and that was with him openly cheating. It is mind boggling some of y’all’s inability to understand the difference between an 85 man roster with dozens of 4 star/5 star players and a 71 man roster with a fraction of said 4 star/5 star players

Pruitt lost to Georgia State and almost lost to Charlotte. He shouldn’t get credit for games that weren’t played. He showed he could lose to anybody.

Im with you on the 6 win schedule…….to me the schedule looked like 6 wins.

However the “all SEC” schedule vs a normal schedule isn’t exactly apples to apples.

Last year after the second half of the Georgia game Tennessee fell apart……..like a crashing plane.

Would Tennessee have beaten Missouri if they didn’t play them second game of the year?……who knows……..but it doesn’t “seem” as if they would. Missouri got better, and Tennessee tanked.

Heck if played later in the season the SC game “could” have been different.

There is no way on earth to “know” Tennessee would have been 6-6 last year with a regular schedule…….the way the team crashed and burned and the way they quit…….I seriously doubt Tennessee would have won 6 games even facing 3 “pansies.”

We aren’t winning out and we’ll be lucky to finish 6-6 which is what most predicted us to be.
Our best chance to hit seven wins will be Ky. We seem to play around in their heads a little bit. Kinda like us and Florida in that, we want to be them so bad we can't get out of our own way.

A post worthy of D4H.

I dont think that's is a good coaching job if we do. especially if we are healthy down the stretch
Thats the problem we havent been healthy all year. OL ring a bell ? RB'S missing games etc. We are not deep our 1's can play. Not much behind that

Tennessee Needs to win out

Blah blah blah. We are merely fans, and fans of a program that has been slappin' around the docks like a caught fish on a hot summer day. We pull for our team/s. We root for our players & coaches. We hope that our enemies make copious mistakes. We even pray when the tough gets going tough. But at the end of the day, we are merely fans, loyal to a fault and dedicated like the farmer is to his chickens.

We all hope that our coaches and players give us their ALL during the next 4 games. If they do that, VN will be OK with the results. May not be what we hoped for, but with an entirely new coaching staff and almost entirely new team, how could anyone really expect/demand more being that we play in the dang toughest league in the states?

Go Vols!!

If Bama had the ball against us for 40 minutes then Kentucky is going to try their best to keep the ball at least 45 minutes of the game.

Witch Doctor say these kind of loopy expectations is why people throw things, burn mattresses, and then want to hire a new coach ever year because they look stupid because it didnt happen.

Bones Never Lie.
