Some have a problem with basic math, how much a coach WAS PAID/YEAR, would be the total amount of money TENNESSEE paid the guy divided by the number of years he coached-this would include any buy-out. For example: if a coach was paid 10 million dollars (five million was his buy out) coached for one year, he was not a five million dollar per year coach, he was a TEN million dollar per year coach. Once we start doing real math, for, oh, let's say, boy butch and dooley, we weren't under paying. In fact anything we paid either dooley or boy butch was over paying.
