Obviously it says that, but they aren't going to do jack to the major rivalries unless something drastic happens, otherwise the whole exercise has been pretty pointless. Maintaining long standing rivalries is clearly very, very important to the SEC in terms of priorities.Not arguing with you - that's your opinion, and it very well could be the case. However, what I stated above was a fact, from the SEC scheduling guidelines:
Annual opponents will be evaluated after each four-year cycle to maintain continued competitive balance
