we do a good job of that usually, i remember i went to the game in Pasadena in like 07 or 08 and watched us blow a 23-7 lead at half or something lol
and we did the Oregon home and home not to long ago too....
that Pasadena game was tough but absolutely beautiful back drop and stadium imo....

I went to Norman a couple of years back. A great trip except we got owned. Then my Oklahoma loving friend had to come to Knoxville and watch his team (almost) lose. We did get to see the Boz and Good Ol' J.R. though!

Good to see I finally knock BYU off my CFB bucket list in 2023 (these games are scheduled way too far into the future)

If you can, sit in the west stands facing the mountains to the east. Unreal views of granite and green mountains.

it helps when you get mature men who have to do missions as part of school and religion. they get married come back and are 21-25 vs 18-21.....married w/ kids and focused on future and not just the moment or elite kids who have been pampered they whole lives and expect to go pro and make millions...not saying BYU doesnt put guys in the league but they have a different kind of recruit then anyone in the SEC....

They have lots of Somoan/Pacific Islander kids.

Used to be weird laws in Utah like every two drinks you buy in a restaurant/bar, you have to order food with the drinks. So you would see some drunks with 6 or 8 plates of food stacked up on their table.

Also, most bars, except the Chillis or Hooters type are private. So you have to buy a membership or get signed in by someone.

Now I haven't done any serious drinking in Utah in several years so I don't know if these laws have changed.

Provo altitude is 4549 feet which is significant but not real bad. Denver 5280 ft, Boulder 5430 ft, Colorado Springs 6035 ft, and Air Force Academy 6200-6500 feet are much more challenging for athletes.

The mission has nothing to do with school, they don't have to go, and it's only 2 years, not 3.

Anybody remembed JT Mapu? He was probably better before his mission, tbh.

Just remember that Utah beer is low gravity so drink twice as many...

Only if you buy from a grocery store and maybe places like Applebee's (and it's more than half). At a bar or the liquor store, you can get heavy beer.

Bring on the mormon jokes

The young Mormon lad was nervous on his wedding night to finally be alone with his bride. So he called home from the hotel to get some guidance.

His father tried to explain that nature should take its course, but it was clear the he was full of anxiety and stress.

Finally, his exasperated father said, "SON! Just get your favorite toy and stick it where she pees!"

The son called back in a few minutes and said,

"Okay Dad, my bowling ball is in the toilet, now what?"
