Hey Race Baiter.....this is a high paying position. It’s a surgeon’s salary. It is based on job performance not being from here. If you want a coaching staff that has no chemistry...look back at 3yrs of Pruitt or Butch’s final season. This has not a damn thing to do with winning a National Championship or his skin color.

The one solid proven thing Heupel has delivered on since he’s been coaching is high powered offenses. He knows his guys and knows who will meet his needs. I want to win. If keeping any Coach that’s here is going to interfere with that process then thanks and best of luck.

BTW...I seem to remember Tee Martin digging our job offer before because he was to good to be here instead of fancy LA and USC. He only came here because he was FIRED for under performing. Maybe you should contact the Athletic Department at USC. Ask them if they fired him because of his skin color....calling is racists for nothing.

The reason he lost play calling duties is because their QB situation was as bad as ours was last year with JG. Jack Sears was supposed to be the next great thing. He played one game. JT Daniels was 5-4. He hit 216-of-363 passes (59.5%) for 2,672 yards with 14 TDs and 10 interceptions. Those stats aren't elite and will get a coach fired. But, Darnold was gone and he put up record breaking stats the year before with Tee as OC. So, as an OC, Tee was hamstrung with JT, as Chaney was with JG. USC was 5-7 and Helton had to make some changes to save his own skin.

Yes but Pruitt shouldn’t have been allowed to hire anyone till the investigation was over with is what I am trying to get at.

Per Hyams Steele was hired because none of the staff could become acting HC due to the NCAA investigation. The law firm told them to bring in someone from the outside. Way overpaid for it but it's just another cost of the Fulmer coup.

Steele was hired before Pruitt was fired so that line of crap doesn’t fly. Hyams is running smoke for Donde and Boyd.

I don’t know why any VFL would want to come back here to work. 1/2 the fan base is gonna end up slinging junk the first time you lose a game.

People need to get over the VFL coaching thing. Just because a former player played here and was successful doesn’t mean he would make a good coach. Does Saban, Day, Dabo, Riley or Smart prioritize or hire a ton of former players?

I agree, right? He won a NC, along with all those other guys. It didn’t stop Fulmer from becoming an AD and getting another golden parachute. Kevin Steele didn’t do crap and he gets a million. If they give him his walking papers after letting his contract expire...that’s a bad look for UT, but if I’m Tee I split and never look back.

GTFO, lol. How many times you hear "QB so and so has won X number of championships"? That don't say that about running backs or Defense, very often, and it's not the case here.

Don't think, for a minute, Tee is qualified for the situation but he sure gets a lot of grief for not very much around here, it seems.

At least he didn't endorse Schiano.

I'd hoped CJH would've been able to find a spot for Tee Martin just for his recruiting prowess alone.

247 has him as primary or secondary recruiter for Key Lawrence, Malachi Wideman, Jalin Hyatt, Jimmy Calloway, Julian Nixon, Walker Merrill, Dee Beckwith, William Parker, Roc Taylor, Jimmy Holiday, and Javontez Spraggins.
